FABRIC

Terms of Service

Last updated · May 27, 2026

Welcome to Fabric. These terms (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Fabric website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Invite-only access

Fabric is invite-only. You may join only with a valid invitation code issued by an existing member or by Fabric. Codes are single-use, bound to the email they were issued to, and may be revoked at any time. Sharing or reselling codes is prohibited.

2. What you can expect

Fabric runs scheduled live sessions in which members are paired for short, structured conversations with other founders. After each conversation, you may privately rate the partner, add tags, and write a note. Ratings, tags, and notes are visible only to you. Other members never see the ratings or notes you write about them.

3. Code of conduct

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Show up on time to sessions you’ve RSVP’d to.
  • Treat every other member with respect. Harassment, hate speech, and unwelcome solicitation are grounds for removal.
  • Use ratings and notes for genuine reflection, not retaliation. Do not weaponize the rating system against members who decline a follow-up.
  • Honor confidentiality when another member shares non-public business information during a session. Unless they say otherwise, treat what you hear as off the record.
  • Provide accurate information in your founder profile (name, stage, focus, LinkedIn). Misrepresentation is grounds for removal.

Fabric reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this code, without notice when necessary to protect other members.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the notes, ratings, and profile information you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Fabric a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (e.g., to show your roster on the page you load). We do not display Your Content publicly, sell it to third parties, or train AI models on it.

5. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in email and any magic-link emails confidential. We do not store passwords; access is granted via magic links sent to your email address. If you lose access to your email, contact us at hello@fabrictest.us and we’ll work to verify your identity through alternative channels.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@fabrictest.us. On closure, we delete your profile, your private notes, and any invitation codes you issued. Ratings and meeting history that involve other members may be retained in anonymized form to preserve those members’ rosters.

Fabric may terminate your account for violations of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or at the direction of legal authority. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your notes.

7. The Service is provided “as is”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis. Fabric disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fabric’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to Fabric in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Fabric is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify members by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fabric is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
